Watched with my friend last night till 1am before i hit home.
Many ask me why i loved this show? I guess the main reason is, i loved the dark side of human nature in this. Death god, is a symbol in the dark side of human. Whenever we hit the most unhappy issue, most of the time, we tik death is the easiest way out.
Many thought of death and some seek for death, and some found death.
Elizabethd, this show, its a bit dark. It shows how the queen seeking death at different stage of her life. First time when i watched this show(3 yrs back), I wonder, queen Elizabeth had never love death god, why she willing to go wif him at the end(Queen elizabeth is a real history person in Austria. N this is sort of her life story.)
Recently, while in seek of answers of death, i realized, death god here might not be a real figure. Its a symbol in our dark side of our heart.

1st death encounter: Queen Elizabeth was only 14 yrs old, she fell from the tree, death god appear to announce her death.She wanted to stay alive, and death god upon realizing that shes too beautiful n decide to let her live till the day she willing to go with him.
Decoding: She fell, though seeing death, but with the will power to live on, she return back to the world of living humans.

2nd death encounter: During her wedding, death god appear to tell, her last dance belongs to him and she trembles.
Decoding: She loved freedom, freedom is her life. Marrying into the palace, is the same as a free bird capture into the cage. Its the end of her freedom, as good as, it had all died.

3rd death encounter: Her mother in law insisted her to wake up at 4.30am daily, do her job as the queen, to act pretty and cant go out to ride horse(which is her favorite n etc). Its a shock to her n husband couldnt help her. She wanted to die, she felt shes going to collapse w/o freedom.
Decoding: When we force into an area n cant do thgs we used to do and force to perform thgs we hate, most of the time, we wan to run away.

4th death encounter: She insisted to bring her daughter(whom young n very weak) to Hungary despite warnings from doctors and her daughter eventually died during the trip and death god appearing to tell her its all his.
Decoding: Go against advice at times will caused hurt to ur loved ones. She regretted alot and hated death for bringing her daughter away.

5th death encounter: All her 4 children are taken away from her, n her husband king Franz did not dare to go against his mother to give Elizabeth the children back. Death god appear to ask her to go wif his to his world.
Decoding: Shes on the verge of breaking down and death thought appears on her mind tiking it might free her but she pulled herself back.

6th death encounter: Upon realized that her husband had cheated on her n having a mistress outside the palace, she hated him. She thought trying to maintain her figure n beauty could get him to stay at her side, but shes wrong. Worst, he caught sexual disease from the mistress(whom a prostitute) n passed it to her. Death god appearing, telling her to go to his world where she be free n loved by him.
Decoding: Despaired that knowing her other half had cheated on her n worst, shes fell sick coz of that, death thought creep up to her. But soon realize she should live n leave the palace for holiday ard the world.

7th death encounter: Her only son, only prince to succeed the throne of Austria committed suicide coz of stress of independent activities and father disappointed with him and mother could not help him. She ask death god to bring her to his world but he refused coz she want to die coz of guilt not loved him.
Decoding: Losing 2 children right in front of her eyes jus simply too much for her to bear. She wan to die, but did not have the guts to do her self hence asked god to take her life away.

Final death: A mad man, stabbed her when shes at the harbour on her way to another holiday trip. First stab, she tried to block, but when the death god called out her name, she resigned to fate n 2nd stabbed right into her heart.

Decoding: Time is up for her to go. Even she refuse, but age had caught up with her, n since she had been ready to give up her life ever since her son died. Shes a sad figure, hence to her, death was a form of escape...

I assume different ppl at different parts of our life thought of death, n death god figure appears n disappears n will only take away our life when our time is up.

Never say GoodBye

"Never say goodbye" had said its sayonara at Osaka theatre on 8th May 2006. Its a Sayonara for Wao and Hanafusa.. The two had named as the top combo in Takarauzka history..

The two had been together as Tops from year 2000 to now.. The longest ever been Tops Combo.. Especially Hanafusa whom had broke the record of being a Top Musumeyaku for 10 over years ever since Ichiro maki time.. Undenyable, she is one of the best musumeyaku n of coz, the current musumeyaku strength, no one can beat her to it.. But its time for her to move on and let the others try out this post.

Honestly i like to see this top combo dance together.. They both are wonderful dancers and they dance well!! I had seen their stage performance in Takarazuka therate in year 2004. They were performing "Phantom". I wasnt a wao or hanafusa fan, but im quite impress with their dance and hanafusa singing... No other musumeyaku now could sing like her..

For Wao, I didnt really like her at the begining.. The first time i saw her was at Elizabeth but only took notice of her at the show of ichiro maki, JFK.. But i wasnt impress coz i didnt like her singing.. But yes, shes a good dancer.. I tik she had improved over the time and Im so amazed with her acting now.. On stage can really see that she act as though she really loved hanafusa alot alot..The feeling she gave was wonderful.. Wao fell down from 2meters high last yr during her show performance. But though she was advise from docs against performing till april, but she insist of doing her sayonara shows. This really shows how much they love the stage n their fans. Many whom watch this last show said her dance was good theres no sign tt shown she had fell from such high height b4.
Well, in Takarazuka, Sayonara Shows mean last stage show. Whenever we watch the sayonara show, we all will start to cry.. So far we had cried over, Koju, mariko, noru, charlie sayonara show. The ones tt most of us cant bear to watch again are these ppl too..
Sayonara show always end with stars giving their speech and many will start to drop tears coz cant bear to leave a place where they had spend 10 over years at.. Its the feeling...

Elizabeth, my favourite broadway show especially the ones staged by takarazuka by yuki and hoshi gumi. Some ppl say they look scary, well, its a story of the death god, king and queen of Austria. Since its a death god, of coz the makeup will be more onto the devil looking side. I always proudly show my closed buddies the photos of this show(well, yes, ive even forced 2 of them to watch wif me haha..). My closed frds(whom like takarazuka) and i will watch this show again nad again andagain without feeling bored!! They are just so great!! Ive even had CD with the songs sang in the show.. Do i know how to sing them, yappie, listen to it more than (I dare say, 100 times n still not bored!!!) again without feeling bored!! They are just so great!! Takarazuka

Takarazuka graph, a magazine i started buying when i fell in love with takarazuka.. I rememebered the time the first issue ive bought is issue no 670. From then on, i kept buying non stop for every month. The most recent issue ive got(yesterday) is issue 700. Wow, i actually had 30 issues at home. Many people scold me for wasting money, only those whom also like takarazuka understood why we willingly to pay so much for them. Subsequently, i started buying other magazines as long as there are taka stars whom i like in it..Now my drawer is filled with all sorts of magazines bought over the 2 over yrs. I like reading them the moment i collected from the counter.. nice beauitful pictures inside..
This month, the poster is featuring my one of my favourite star, aran kei. She will be going to korea to perform in Nov, i wish i could go.. But schedule is too tight for me so i need to give up the idea of going there..Well, look forward to go japan again, so tt i could see her once again!
