5th Japan Trip 2007 - #17

29th Dec 07 ~ After a night of rest, XM n I woke up at 6.30 to go for 1 more round of Onsen before breakfast. The air was so cooling. And the outdoor onsen was just as wonderful.

Jus when we stepped out of the Onsen, to head back to our room, the air was so fresh especially after a morning rain, and the scenery around the hotel were just too good to be missed. Mt Fuji is peeking out from the clouds, though not clear, but still could be seen. Our rooms were on level 2, right in the middle of the building.
Headed off for breakfast!!! Looking forward to breakfast. Service really good. They have staff to serve you for your rice, egg and miso soup.
The rest are buffet style. Quite the same to other hotels, but the different is, theres more food.. hahaha..
After breakfast we went out for a morning walk(which I hardly had the chance in SG). The water droplets stayed on the Sakura tree. It seems as if theres diamonds on the tree isnt it. Fresh air, little pollution, slow pace.. A good place to retire or a break for me away from work...(work? wat work?? hahaha.. JK)

Soon 10am, time to check out.. So sad!!! T_T
Though super duper not willing to leave but have to... So we were off, taking the hotel shuttle and headed back to the bus station for our bus back to Tokyo. At this moment, Mt Fuji still couldn't be seen. But well, the clouds looked very fluffy n nice to rest on. Hahaa...
On the way back to Tokyo, theres a heart warming scene. Someone offered some gum for other passengers on the bus, though they didnt know each other, but they started to offer back so end up, each had another one's snacks. Its a small gesture but I tik it shows how friendly ppl r.
After checking in again at Sunroute hotel and went out for food. Its 3pm and we're hungry!!! We went to some small lanes at Shinjuku and found one Ramen shop tts still crowded despite passed lunch hr. We ordered Ramen. I had my special Ramen which had a little spicy taste. Well.. I still tik the one at airport had the best spicy taste(coz of the chilli).
After makan, we went to Odaiba, to Venus Fort(A shopping mall in the style of a 18th century South European town. It features more than one hundred boutiques, shops, cafes and restaurants, targeting a mainly female audience.). They even painted the ceiling with blue sky color and clouds. We felt as if we were in olden Europe.
We went to Aquacity to catch view of the Rainbow bridge and since its night time, the lights r up with rainbow light bulbs, of coz. At 7pm, they had fireworks!! Though u couldnt expect it to be like our National day, but the fireworks had wonderful combination of flowers, stars, snow etc.
Though, we had enough shopping for the day but my dad wanted to go to Ropponggi Hill as his frd told him this is a huge place for shopping, entertainment and sceneries of Tokyo town. Well... yes, it does provide a good view. You could see Tokyo Tower from here and nice lights deco etc.. Shopping wise, well... ok..... not so bad...... Anything super duper good? hmmm the popcorn from the cinema store smell nice though(Im not kidding). Maybe our expectation too high, so a bit disappointed...
